Presentation of Cyprus National Basketball Team and the cooperation with Cyprus Airways

Larnaka - Cyprus, A beautiful event took place on Wednesday 10 July 2019 at Murphy’s Pub Nicosia, whereby the cooperation between the Cyprus Basketball Federation and Cyprus Airways as the new official air carrier, was presented to journalists and media representatives.

Natalia Popova Chief Commercial Officer of Cyprus Airways stated that “Cyprus Airways is pleased to be part of this gathering that marks the cooperation between the two organizations. We are delighted to be the Official Carrier of the Cyprus Basketball Federation for the next two years, looking forward to more years to come.

As a proud Cyprus company and with great enthusiasm to be part and involved with our community and society, Cyprus Airways chooses to support the efforts of the local sports teams and in particular the Basketball Federation for their trips abroad whether on training or for official games. The partnership between Cyprus Airways and the Cyprus Basketball Federation is a perfect match due to a shared value: Team Spirit, necessary for both of our successes.”


Before completing the presentation, the Cyprus Basketball Federation had a surprise for Cyprus Airways where one of the captains Simon Michael, delivered a commemorative jersey of our national team, which now has the Cyprus Airways logo at the back.
