If my flight is cancelled

As of June 09, 2020, the airports of Larnaca and Paphos will reopen for commercial flights to certain destinations.

Our scheduled flights to destinations not included in Category A or Category B countries will be cancelled.

If your flight is cancelled and you have booked your tickets using Cyprus Airways website or Call-Center you will receive an email notification with the alternative options offered:

  • you can rebook your flight to the same destination for a future date
  • you can issue a travel voucher for the amount of the original ticket. Your travel voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and you can use the whole or part of the voucher within the validity period.  Once it expires, (i.e. 12 months after issuance), you are eligible to request a refund of the remaining unused amount paid for your initial booking, provided that the travel voucher has not been used in full.   • you can request a refund. Please note that the processing will take long due to the excessive amount of adjustments being made to our scheduled operations.

Status of my flight

You can check our schedule here. If your flight is not listed there, that means that it has been cancelled. If your flight has been cancelled, you will receive an email notification regarding cancellation to email address you used when booking your flight.

If you have symptoms

Symptomatic passengers identified in the airport by the public health authorities may be refused to continue their travel. IF you have following symptoms: Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath, Loss of Taste or Smell, we encourage you to reconsider your travel arrangements. You are allowed to change of travel date without a rebooking fee (difference in fare levels should be paid additionally) on the basis of a doctor’s certificate confirming suspicion of COVID19 contamination up to 6 hours before the flight. In any case, you can modify your travel arrangements using “Manage My Booking” page.

Mask/coverage

Passengers are requested to wear face masks/coverings from the time they arrive at the airport and onboard Cyprus Airways flights. Face masks/coverings should not be placed on children younger than 2 years old, anyone who has trouble breathing or otherwise unable to remove the cover without assistance.

You should change your mask every 4 hours or if it becomes damaged, wet or dirty. Please make sure that you have sufficient supply of masks for the entire duration of their journey
