Fare Rules

The rules governing ticket changes, cancellations and refunds for each Cyprus Airways fare type. These conditions apply to all tickets purchased on or after 19 April 2024.

Date, Flight, Route & Class of Service Changes

The YQ surcharge fee is non-transferable and will be additionally collected for all segments (including changed and unchanged) in case of any changes.

Cancellation Fees & Refund Eligibility

Refund of unused YQ and YR surcharge fees is not permitted for any fare type. Refund of taxes paid to third parties is permitted except for taxes that are legally non-refundable. Child discount does not apply to cancellation fees. Infant without seat: free of charge.

Rules Applicable to All Fare Types

• Sequential use of flight coupons: Fares are only valid if flights are taken in the booked sequence. The fare will be recalculated based on the actual routing if flights are not used in order.
• No-show policy: No-show on any flight may cause automatic cancellation of all subsequent bookings on the ticket.
• YQ surcharge on changes: The YQ fee is non-transferable. It is additionally collected for all segments — including changed and unchanged — every time a change is made.
• YQ / YR surcharge refunds: Refund of unused YQ and YR fees is not permitted under any fare type or circumstance.
• Fare difference: All changes are subject to collection of the difference between the original fare and the new fare or fare combination, plus any applicable reissue charges.
• Effective date: These fare rules apply to tickets purchased on or after 19 April 2024 and are subject to change without prior notice.
